Dear LIS Parents and Guardians,
We hope everyone had a wonderful summer! The LIS PTO board would like to welcome you all to a new and exciting 2023/2024 school year. For those new to our community, we are so happy to have you as part of our LIS family and can't wait to get this year started.
The mission of the LIS PTO is to bring forth fun, offer enriching programs, nurture a sense of community through active parent and guardian engagement, and provide valuable resources to enrich your child's learning experience. During the pandemic, many of these opportunities were unfortunately put on hold. We have been working hard to get back to a new normal and had a great start to last year in what was accomplished. We have been brainstorming all summer about upcoming events, dances, and the possibility of bringing back school trips!
Let's keep this short and to the point. To accomplish these things for our students we will need your help! Throughout the year, there will be opportunities to volunteer for events. Homeroom coordinators are needed, and, of course, donations! Visit this website to learn more about upcoming news and events.
We look forward to hearing from you on any ideas you have to make this year truly epic!
